Sanath and Murali’s sons in U-15 Youth cricket tourney

The sons of two former cricketing legends of Sri Lanka- Sanath Jayasuriya and Muttiah Muralitharan will be seen in action in the under-15 Inter District Youth Cricket Tournament organised and conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket island wide.

Ranuk the son of Master Blaster Sanath Jayasuriya will represent the Colombo North zone (3) while Naren the son of spin wizard and World record holder Muttaiah Muralitharan will play for Colombo North (1) respectively. This popular tournamnet will be held in 25 districts to encourage the young kids to take up the game and to scout their talents at a young age. The Western province which has the biggest participation in this tournament is divided in to three districts. The Colombo district comprises of six teams each tagged as Colombo South and North. But the Gampaha District is segregated as zone 1,2 and 3 while the Kalutara district too consists same number of teams slated in three zones.
