In the year 2015 she represented the ‘Sansom House’ at the Inter House sports meet in Swimming and participated in the Free Style and Back Stroke from the age of Nine to Eleven. While doing Swimming, she started Athletics in the year 2017 at the first relay in the Central Province Schools Kids Athletic meet held at Bogambara Stadium they received a Merit Certificate and in 2018 in the Kids’ Athletic Championship the group won the relay and received a Gold Medal.
The Relay team consisted of Sandali,Akeesha, Minduli and Imashi and in 2019 at the Kids’ Athletic championship they became second and received a Silver Medal and at the All Island Schools relay Championship in the 4 x 100 Metre Relay they got the third place. Again in the same year at the same Championship which was held at Sugathadasa Stadium they secured the third place. at the Sir John Tarbet Junior championship in the 4 x 100 Metre Relay they became third which was held at the same venue.
In the same year, in the same Championship in the High Jump event Sandali was placed first at the 80 Metre and 100 Metre races and received a Merit Certificate. In 2019 at the Colours Award Ceremony organized by the Zonal Education Dept.Kandy she was awarded colours and at the Provincial level Meet held in 2019 she received the second place at the 4×50 Metre relay and at the Sir John Tarbet Junior Championship in the 80 Metre and 100 Metre races and in the High Jump event she received a Merit Certificate.
At District level at the Kids’ Junior & Senior Open and Master Athletic Championship in 2019 she received the second place in the 60 Metre race.
While doing Athletics Sandali started on Table Tennis and in 2015 she secured the third place at the Central Province TT championship and in 2016 she became the Quarter finalist at the Central province TT Championship. She received the ‘Sakuna’ Challenge Trophy in 2015 at the Central province TT Championship and became the Semi finalist at the Inter School Open team Tournament.
