Sandali Udamini outstanding sportswoman

Uva Province under 13 to 20 Junior National Champion, School Badminton Captain, School under 17 Table Tennis Captain, Athlete, Volleyball and Carrom player Weerasinghe Devayalage Sandali Udamini Weerasinghe has brought honour and immense glory to Central College Bandarawela and Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha with her deeds in the field of sports. .

In 2013 participating in the under 13 age group she was the school and Junior National Uva Province Singles Champion in 2014 and in 2015 too she achieved the same results and in 2016 she was the School Champion, Junior National Uva Province Champion and Doubles Champion and her partner was Sanduni Lakshika. Then in 2017 she was the School and Uva Province under 17 Singles Champion and her school became Uva Schools Runner up and they participated in the S.L.A.Ratnayake Memorial All Island ‘E’ Division Championship and her school became Runner up. In 2018 too she was the School and Uva Province under 20 Singles Champion and in 2019 they participated for the All Island National Meet and in the Uva Open Tournament they were the Runner up. in the volleyball and Carrom for the Inter House Tournaments.Moneragala, Ratnapura and Badulla Tri District Tournament. Then in the following year she was selected for the Uva – Southern Combined Squad and Uva Provincial Cricket Squad and in 2017 she played for the Inter District Tournament. Same year she passed the G.C.E. ‘O’ Level Examination with flying colous securing Nine ‘A’ s and admitted to Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha and she was a unanimous choice for the school under 19 Cricket Team and came under Asela Gunaratne.
