Sandinu steers Holy Cross to innings win
Sandinu Siriwardana’s all-round performances steered Holy Cross College Kalutara against St. Thomas College Kotte by innings and 22 runs in their first round fixture of the Under 13 division One Inter Schools Cricket tournament.
Navindu Warnapura, left arm leg spinner of St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya claimed 7 wickets for 7 runs against Carey College Colombo. Senuja Vehan skipper of Mahinda College Galle claimed 6 wickets for 20 runs against Devapathiraja College Rathgama.
Holy Cross College Kalutara beat St. Thomas College Kotte by innings and 22 runs. St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya, Mahinda College Galle, Gurukula College Kelaniya and Kingswood College Kandy won on first innings.
