Saracens CC win by three wickets

In a Kandy District Cricket Association – Division III Tournament*Match played at Prisons grounds Pallekelle Saracens Cricket Club beat Gampola Cricket Club by 3 wickets. Gampola CC batting first were all out for 161 runs in 37.4 over’s and in reply Saracens CC score 164 for 7 wickets in 29 over’s,to pull the game in their favour.

CP men’s and women’s hockey champs

Men’s and Women’s hockey players have made Central Province proud, both teams did well to win the championship at the 47th National Sports Festival held at Police Park Colombo. Damika Ranasinghe and K.L.S. Kumari were the best players in the men’s and women’s event.

Madina College Madawela gave a good display of rugby to beat Model School by 90points, of ten goals, 4 tries to 10 two tres in their inter school under19 Dialog division III game played at Madawala. At half time breather thewinners led 49-05. Madena College is blessed with a good set of talentedp layers who are keen in the game are sure to give their best.
