‘Satharawa Deepani’ ceremony today

Awarding of scholarship to the GCE Advanced Level students by the  Pragnabandu Scholarship Fund, initiated by Transport, Highways and Media Minister Dr.Bandula Gunawardena and felicitation of artistes who have made greater contribution to the cinema industry through their creative skills, will take place at a ceremony – Satharawa Deepani – to be held at the BMICH at 6 p.m today.

The beneficiary students will receive financial grant during their Advanced Level studies under this scholarship scheme. The student community will benefit by this scheme in the future too.
