Saturday ‘Seethawaka Odyssey’ tourist train begins

Saturday Seethawaka Odyssey tourist train commenced operations from Colombo Fort on August 5 with the blessings of the Maha Sangha. Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr Bandula Gunawardhana, Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong, Vietnam Ambassador Ho Thi Thanh Truc and Senior officer of Russian Cultural Centre Natalia Kulishenko had participated in the inaugural tour. They are seen participating in religious observances . Western Province Governor Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Goonetileke, Colombo District Secretary Pradeep Yasaratne and District Secretaries in the Colombo district also joined the tour.
