Schools in Sri Lanka will be digitized soon

Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said that the aim of the Ministry of Education is to provide equal opportunities in education to all the children in the country, and as one of the steps, the schools teaching up to GCE Advanced Level Examination syllabus in the country will be digitized by June this year and accordingly, the children will be provided with the opportunity to continue their education by directly connecting with the new technology.

The minister expressed these views today (05) at a ceremony held at the Jaffna Hindu College. Accordingly, the 3,000 schools offering studies up to GCE Advanced Level Examination in Sri Lanka will be digitized, and related to this, the training of teachers will commence from March this year, and Smart Interactive Boards will be provided to all relevant schools, the Minister further said.
