Scotland pip spirited PNG for second win
Scotland, inspired by their stunning win over Bangladesh on Monday, produced another fine all-round performance to complete a convincing victory in the end.
After electing to bat first, Scotland hammered an impressive 165 for nine with middle order batters Matthew Cross (45) and Berrington Charles (70) leading the way.
The pair dominated the innings with a third wicket partnership of 92 runs before PNG came back into the game by claiming a few late wickets.
However, the target was still too much for PNG as they folded up for 148 runs against the pace of Josh Davey, who returned splendid figures of four for 18.
