Shifting from teaching to learning at St. Benedict’s College

St. Benedict’s College has embarked on a Transformative Journey in the way the students and teachers LEARN and GROW. Zonal Director of Education P. R. Dewabandu together with his officials, Deputy Director of Technology Education of the Education Ministry Gayathri Kanakarantne met Rev. Bro. Dr. Pubudu Rajapaksha Director/Principal, Old Benedictine, Sunil Ranjith Dediwalage, Educator in Australia, the Facilitator of the 21st Century Learning and Teaching Model at St. Benedict’s College, Staff and Old Boys on September 22 to discuss plans to implement a MODEL of this transformative process at St. Benedict’s College.

The Education Department praised this initiative in taking steps to empower students to reach their full potential and equip them with skills needed to thrive in the 21st Century.
