Shooting at Habaraduwa: One injured

One person injured has been injured in a shooting in Thalpe, in Habaraduwa today (09).

According to police, the victim is a 30-year-old resident of Navimana.

An unidentified group of individuals pretending to be police officers had abducted the victim out of his house in a car, and shot him before abandoning him on the roadside. The group then has shot the individual in the leg.

Later the victim has been admitted to Karapitiya Hospital for treatment, the police said.

Habaraduwa Police is conducting further investigations.
