Shuttle Hunder team of PPA Qatar champions

Shuttle Hunder team of Past Pupils Association (PPA) Qatar Chapter of Kalmunai Zahira College (National School) emerges as Champion at the Zahirians Badminton Premier League -2023 (Season -1), concluded at the Alba Cambridge College indoor stadium in Qatar recently. NS Smashes Doha team was the Runner-up.

The double men’s badminton tournament was organized by Past Pupils Association (PPA) Qatar Chapter of Kalmunai Zahira College (National School) President Mohamed Fais Athambawa while 16 teams participated. The final match was played between the Shuttle Hunder and NS Smashes Doha badminton teams.

At the final match held in 3 rounds Afrath and Faraji of the Shuttle Hunder team became the champions and awarded prizes. Players were awarded certificates

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kalmunai Dr. Jameel Memorial Hospital and Zahira College, Kalmunai old boy Dr.M.Rizan Jameel graced the occasion as Chief Guest at the awarding ceremony.
