Six people including a woman were arrested by Police for forcefully entering a house at Fair Field Gardens Road, Borella belonging to a deceased medical specialist and trying to chase away the occupants.

They brandished a toy pistol at the occupants claiming the two-storey house was theirs.

Police say that the arrested woman is the step mother of the dead underworld gang leader “Wanathe Olcott”.

Police say that the doctor had died a few days ago and his son who lives in California had come to perform the last rights and had then returned to the US.

A Police officer said that the suspect woman had come to the Police saying that the two-storey house and land had been sold to her for Rs. 08 million by the doctor stating that she was going to stay in the house.

But the Police had informed her not to do so until investigations are complete.

A person who was looking after the house had told the Police that he had done all the doctor’s work for many years and the doctor had transferred this house and land to him through a Power of Attorney.

The man told Police that the doctor had given him instructions to give it to his son, who lives in California, when he returns. Police are investigating.
