SJB Govt. to give priority to local values, businesses

Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa told a public programme held at Mahiyangana that a future SJB Government will give priority to local values and local businesses.

He said a future SJB Government will give all the assistance needed to SMEs and local industries.

The Opposition Leader said that if not for the garment factories established during the era of President Ranasinghe Premadasa, the country would have suffered much worse in the face of this economic decline.

He also mentioned that it is a pity that many factories that were started then have been closed down today.
