Skipper Babar Azam rescues Pakistan
Azam partnered with Mohammed Rizwan to steady the innings but the latter perished leaving his skipper in the company of Faheem Ashraf. Pakistan now lead by 124 runs and Babar Azam will be hoping to take his team’s lead to above 200 runs. As for the bowlers, pacemen Kemar Roach and Jayden Searles shared two wickets each, while Jason Holder clinched the crucial wicket of Mohammed Rizwan.
Earlier the West Indies resuming their first innings were all out for 253 runs with paceman Shaheen Afridi capturing four wickets for 59 runs ably supported by fellow paceman Mohamed Abbas who captured 3 wickets for 43 runs.
