SL sweep Youth ODI series against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka Under-19 made a clean sweep in the Youth One Day International (ODI) Series when they edged out Bangladesh Under-19 by four runs in the fifth and final match played at the Dambulla Stadium yesterday.

The visitors were dismissed for 236 as Vinuja Ranpul and Dunith Wellalage picked up two wickets each after Mahfijul Islam and Aich Mollah had compiled half-centuries.

Earlier opener Chamindu Wickramasinghe hit a splendid 102 with three sixes and 10 boundaries to help Sri Lanka Under-19 reach 240 for nine having elected to bat first.
