SLAF flies high with Community Service Project

A Community Service Project led and closely supervised by Base Commander SLAF Base Hingurakgoda, Group Captain P.D.S.S. Gunawardane, was successfully concluded on Saturday (4), at Ananda Balika National School in Polonnaruwa.

The project involved the renovation of the 71-year-old Sugala Devi Hall and the transformation of an old classroom building into the main administrative building. This project was completed within 10 weeks, and handed over to the students by Air Force Commander, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa.

Logistical support for the project was jointly provided by the Staff, students’ parents and SLAF Base Hingurakgoda.
