SLFEB interveneing to help stranded Sri Lankans in Jordan

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) has engaged in necessary interventions to repatriate the Sri Lankans in trouble due to the closure of a factory in the Sahab area of Jordan.

In response to an inquiry, a senior official of the Bureau said that the country’s embassy has already taken legal measures and the intervention of the country’s Labour and Justice Ministries has been obtained. The spokesperson said that there are more than 350 who are helpless without wages due to the closure of the factory.
