Smith Sports Club overall champions

The Kaluaggala Smith Sports Club won the overall championship while the Hanwella Youth Kirula Sports Club became the runner-up at the Seethawaka Inter Sports Club Athletic Championship.

Inter Sports Club Athletic Championship was jointly organized by the Sports Ministry and Western Province Sports Ministry with the coordination of the Colombo District Secretariat. The Athletic Championship was held at St. John Bosco College Grounds, Kaluaggala with the participation of a large number of athletes.

The trophy for the Best Player in the men’s open category of this tournament was won by M. D. I. Seneviratne of the Youth Kirula Sports Club and the Best Player trophy of the women’s open category was won by L.A.N. Perera of the Smith Sports Club.

Colombo District Secretary Pradeep Yasaratne, Seethawaka Divisional Secretary K.S. Dilhani, Western Province Ministry of Sports Acting Director Sevwandi Hettiarachchi and many other government officials were present.
