Social Worker honoured

Renowned social worker Srinath Sanjeewa Gunasekera of 774, Zone 3, Tulip Millenium City, Oruwala , Athurugiriya, was conferred with the honorary title of “Gawrawa Manawahithawadi Vyapara Vibushana Lanka Abhimani Deshabandu”, by the All Island Environment Protection Organisation, at an awards ceremony held on June 22, at the Palamino Reception Hall, Batugedara, Ratnapura.                                                                                                                                          He was conferred this honorary title in recognition of his services for the society.

He is a Past Pupil of DS Senanayake College, Colombo 8, and is an Estate Superintendent attached to Namunukula Plantations Co.
