Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda emerged triumphant in a thrilling face-off at the Indoor Stadium in Bandaragama, claiming victory as the Girls Under-18 A Division Champions in the All Island Schools Table Tennis Championships recently.
Led by the remarkable skills of Chehana Ravindi, the Sokian girls secured a commendable 3-1 victory over their Musaeus College counterparts in the final showdown.
The journey to the championship podium saw Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda display consistent excellence. In the semifinals, the team demonstrated their mettle by overpowering Holy Cross College Gampaha with a convincing 3-0 victory.
Guiding the victorious Dharmasoka Under-18 TT team towards their remarkable triumph were seasoned coaches Dushan de Silva and Upul Samantha. Complementing their efforts were the dedicated Teachers-in-charge, Nimesha Sakunthala and Kalinga Peiris.
