Sparkling knock of 171 by Mahith Abeysekera

A hurricane unbeaten 171 runs by Mahith Abeysekera guided Wijewardene Maha Vidyalaya Kiriwaththuduwa to register their second victory for the season versus Munidasa Kumaratunga Vidyalaya in their Inter School under 15 division three cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and worked off at Mulleriyawa.

Mahith hit 28 fours and three sixes and occupied the crease for 192 minutes and faced 118 balls and associated a partnership of 136 runs for the eightieth wicket with Thushan Kaveesha who scored 44 runs and also had a 100 run stand for the ninth wicket with Tharusha Sonal who contributed 36 runs.

Batting first KiriwaththuduwaVidyalaya amassed 477 runs and in reply Munidasa KumaratungeVidyalaya made 170 runs with Akalanka Kanishka scoring 52 runs. Mahith Abeysekera claimed 4 for 37.
