Special hotline for operation ‘Yukthiya’ launched

Sri Lanka Police has introduced a special hotline today (02) for the public to provide information in relation to the ongoing countrywide massive anti-drug, anti-crime operation ‘Yukthiya’ (Justice)

Accordingly, the public has been urged to contact the Police Headquarters via the phone number 071 859 8800 if they have any information about drug-related offenders, underworld activities or any other related crimes and offenses.

This special hotline was introduced under the directive of the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon, and stickers displaying the relevant hotline number were also pasted on the back of three-wheelers today presided by him.
