Special Vehicle Stickers for War Heroes

Approximately, 51,000 War Heroes from the Tri-Forces, Police, Special Task Force, and Civil Security Department, who courageously defended the nation’s territorial integrity, are now living with disabilities.

These veterans, residing throughout the country, often face difficulties with parking and access when visiting government institutions.

To ease these challenges, Special Vehicle Stickers have been issued by the Ranaviru Seva Authority to disabled veterans, as well as to the next of kin of deceased and missing War Heroes, the Army said.

The Army requested the public to give priority to vehicles displaying this sticker.

“Please kindly prioritise them, acknowledging their sacrifice and disability” the Army said in a statement.
