Sri Lanka beat Kyrgyzstan 3/0 to enter final with Iraq

Sri Lankan Tennis players domineted at the Group IV Davis Cup Rakuten Tennis tournament when they beat Kyrgyzstan by 3/0 to enter the final yesterday at the SLTA courts.

The National champion Yasitha de Silva beat Ilgiz kamchibekov (Kyrgyzstan) 7/6 (5)6/0 while experienced Harshana Godamanna outclassed Mirgiiaz Mirdzhaliev (Kyrgyzstan,) 6/4 6/2

At the doubles game Chathurya Nilaweera and Thehan Wijemanne recorded two sets win 6/4 6/2 over Mirgiiaz Mirdzhaliev and Evgeniy Babak.

Sri Lanka the Group A leaders will meet Group B top team Iraq in the Group iv final tomorrow at SLTA courts.

Seven countries are taking part this tournament which conducted by SLTA and winner of this tournament will promoted to group 111 Davis Cup tennis tournament.
