Sri Lanka climbs up in FIFA Rankings

Sri Lanka has climbed one place in the FIFA World Rankings, moving from 187th to 186th following its victory over Seychelles on Sunday (27).

The national football team recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Seychelles, earning 4.31 ranking points from the result.

Sri Lanka now has 881.17 points in the rankings and occupies 186th position, having been ranked 187th prior to the match.

The victory also continued a positive run of results for Sri Lanka, with the team recording three consecutive wins in its latest matches following two defeats.

Sri Lanka is scheduled to face Seychelles again on Tuesday (29), providing the national side with another opportunity to build on its recent results.
