Sri Lanka condemns attacks on civilian airports in Saudi Arabia

Sri Lanka has strongly condemned the recent attacks targeting civilian airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which have caused casualties and injuries.
In an official media release issued on 09 October 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism expressed sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
The Government of Sri Lanka also voiced its solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia, urging all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint and pursue constructive dialogue to de-escalate tensions. (Newswire)
