Sri Lanka, Thailand to hold bilateral political consultations in Colombo

The fifth round of Bilateral Political Consultations between Sri Lanka and Thailand will be held next Monday (28) at the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Colombo. The consultations will be co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Aruni Wijewardane and Thailand’s Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Sarun Charoensuwan.

The consultations are expected to assess the status of bilateral relations covering ongoing cooperation and areas of shared interest including political, trade and investment, defence, culture and tourism. The fourth round of bilateral political consultations between two countries was held on February 28, 2018 in Colombo.
