Sri Lanka to host first ever Moto Surf Championship

In Celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Lanka Power Boat Association (LPA) is set to make history by organizing the first-ever Moto Surf World Championship in Sri Lanka. As the 54th member country and an affiliated local body of the union international Motonautique (UIM), the world governing body, https://www.uim.sport/ the LPA aims to introduce power boat racing in Sri Lanka and position the country as a professional training destination for participants globally.

The Moto Surf World Championship is scheduled to take place from November 17 to 19 at the prestigious Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

This event is not only a milestone for Sri Lanka but also a significant step in promoting the country’s potential as a hub for power boat racing enthusiasts.

LPA aims to introduce Formula Series to Jet surf, racing and licensing to Sri Lankans to compete globally.
