A 15-member group of travel agents from FTI Touristik, world world-renowned tour operator based in Europe arrived in Sri Lanka on December 9, via UL554 from Frankfurt for a week’s familiarisation tour.
These high-end travel agents have visited the country for the first time, hosted by HOT House of Travels (Pvt) Ltd. “The group will cover strategic locations in the paradise Island visiting Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Bentota and Colombo.”
Chairman HOT Tourism Nalin Malwenna on December 14, the final day they will meet with top hotel industry representatives to promote their properties to FTI travel agents. “FTI, plans to actively engage “FTI will also support self-drive holidays, beach holidays, individual tours, long-haul tours, packages and modular services” said HOT Tourism Business Director and Former FTI Regional Head Paul Hiemo. The group will leave the country early December 15.
