Sri Lanka U-19 155/6 at stumps on Day-2

Pakistan under 19 team made a huge total of 425 all out in their first innings with two openers Azan Haris hit 104 well supported by his partner Shahzaib Khann who scored 161 while Sri Lanka under 19 were struggling 155 for 6 wickets after second day’s play of their four day game played at Karachchi Stadium yesterday.

Pakistan openers made 228 runs stand while Sri Lanka leg spinner Malsha Tharupathi took bowling honours taking 3 for 75 and Ravishan Perera 2 for 49 and Vihas Thewmika captured 2 for 105.

In reply to Pakistan first innings total Sri Lanka couldn’t make good start and were 155 for 6 wickets at stumps. Pulindu Perera hit an unbeaten 53 while skipper Sineth Jayawardena scored 38 and wicket keeper Hiran Jayasundara scored 22. (D.R)
