Sri Lankan migrant wins Rs. 1,760 Mn in Abu Dhabi lottery

A Sri Lankan migrant has won a massive prize of Rs.1,760 million (Dirham 20 million) in the latest draw of the Big Ticket Lottery in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

According to Gulf News, a Sri Lankan named Thurailingam Prabhagar has become the lucky winner.

Thurailingam migrated to the United Arab Emirates 16 years ago and is currently working as a supervisor in a company in Dubai.

He bought the winning ticket online in the last week of August and got this prize money for that lottery.It is also reported that Thurailingam along with a group of 10 of his friends have been buying the ‘big ticket’ lottery for the past five years.
