St. Anthony’s Katugastota school fraud: GN surrenders

The Special Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kandy Police conducting investigations into the incident of admitting students to the intermediate classes using fake documents to St.Anthony’s Girl’s College, Katugastota arrested the Deiyyanewela division Grama Niladhari in connection with the incident.

The Grama Nildhari was arrested after he surrendered to the Police through a lawyer. It has been revealed through Police investigations that he was also the Secretary of Katugastota St.Anthony Girls’ School Development Society.

According to the Police, the suspect has been accused of preparing fake documents for the admission of students to the middle classes of the girls’ school.
