Star-studded launch planned for Home Lands’ US$300 million Port City project

Home Lands will unveil its latest luxury development, Central Park Boulevard Port City Colombo, at what the company describes as Sri Lanka’s largest-ever real estate launch event this week.

The three-day launch, titled “The Grand Launch Weekend”, will be held from June 12 to 14 at Cinnamon Life in Colombo and will feature a series of events attended by business leaders, celebrities, social influencers, and international guests.

Bollywood actors Shilpa Shetty, Aditya Roy Kapur and Jacqueline Fernandez are expected to attend the opening event, while former Sri Lanka cricket captain Mahela Jayawardene will be introduced as Home Lands’ newest brand ambassador.

Located in the Central Park District of Port City Colombo, the twin-tower development will comprise more than 640 residential units across 37 floors. The project is designed around nearly 40 acres of parkland and waterfront space, with views of the Indian Ocean.

According to Home Lands, the development has an estimated value exceeding US$300 million, while the company’s investment in the project stands at US$150 million, making it the largest real estate investment by a single Sri Lankan developer.

The company said 50% of the units have already been sold ahead of the official launch.

Following the launch weekend, the Central Park Boulevard Port City Colombo Sales Gallery will open to the public on June 15, offering prospective buyers an opportunity to explore the project’s design, amenities and investment potential.

Home Lands said the development is expected to attract significant foreign investment while setting a new benchmark for luxury residential living in Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
