State Min. discusses on new sustainability initiatives

A meeting was held between the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia & the Pacific (ESCAP) Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana and the State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe.

The State Minister stated that they discussed on new sustainability initiatives that Sri Lanka is taking while emerging from the crisis.

The meeting held during the fourth session of the Committee on Macroeconomic Policy, Poverty Reduction, and Financing for Development organized by United Nations Economic and Social Council (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand
