STF recover ammo in Mullaitivu

A haul of explosives used by LTTE during the war, seized by STF on 16 Nov.

Mullaitivu Police said Special Task Force Police officers recently handed over a haul of explosives used by LTTE.

On Wednesday (16), STF officers in Mullaitivu, acting on a tip-off, made a search operation at a trade centre in Pulliwaikkal, illegally run by the LTTE during the war, and recovered six bullets of 60 millimetres, mortar, and one live bullet. The explosives were handed over to Mullaitivu Police.
