Strong winds up to 50 kmph expected across parts of Sri Lanka

Strong winds of about (40-50) kmph can be expected at times over Central, Sabaragamuwa, Northern and North-central provinces and in Trincomalee and Hambantota districts, due to the active south-west monsoonal condition.

Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times elsewhere of the island.
