Students to get 30% discount for SPC books

State Printing Corporation Chairman Nimal Dharmaratne said that textbooks to schoolchildren will be provided at a 30 percent discount.

He said that this has been operational since yesterday (2).

This decision has been taken based on the idea of Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha.

Accordingly, it is possible to obtain this discount for a representative who comes with a letter of recommendation from the principal of the relevant school.

He said that these excise books are made with a well-finished cover and GSM 60 paper, which are competitively produced with the excise books available in the current market.
