Sunse Japan joins BMC to construct Tourist Police Stations

Sunse Japan (Pvt) Ltd, a leading construction company joins with State Building Material Corporation to commence the construction work of Tourist Police Stations across the island. This project initiated with the financial contribution of Tourism Development Authority for the Sri Lanka Tourist Police which labor to safeguard the local and foreign tourists.

Laying foundation stone for a Tourist police station at the Mount Lavinia seashore as the first phase was held recently in a ceremonial manner. Mahesh Senaratne – Deputy Inspector General of Police, Upali Abeyratne – Deputy General Manager of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Dilum Ratnayake – General Manager of State Building Material Corporation, Chathuranga Withanage – Managing Director of Sunse Japan (Pvt) Ltd and invitees were present at the event.

The special feature of this project is that modern Japanese technology is used in the construction work and specially imported building materials from Japan (for roof, walls, floor, doors, ceiling and tiles) and will shall be used in very attractive manner.

Japan Gedara and Sunse Japan (Pvt) Ltd are supplying all building materials. Both of these companies have been incorporated with the collaboration of Japanese and Sri Lankan Professionals.

“We expect to finish construction work of this office premises within one and half month. Our building materials which are imported only from Japan are environment friendly and resistant to any environmental condition. Similarly it is durable for long period of time. This Japanese construction technology introduced by our company is now expanded extensively in Sri Lanka as we have been receiving lot of orders,” said Chathuranga Withanage, The Managing Director of Sunse Japan (Pvt) Ltd & Japan Gedara (Pvt) Ltd at the inaugural construction ceremony.
