Suspect bites cop’s cheek and flees

Bulathkohupitiya Police are on the lookout for a person who bit the face of a Police officer who went to arrest a suspect involved in the theft of a mobile phone.

The suspect is a person who had been arrested by the police on an earlier occasion as well on a drug charge. After having a fight with the Police officers, the suspect bit the right cheek of the constable and fled. The constable has been admitted to hospital for treatment. The Police are on the lookout for the suspect.
