Swiss coach Conor conducts coaching clinic for Sri Lankan junior squash players

In a noteworthy event at the Air Force Squash Complex in Ratmalana, Swiss Coach Conor D’Cruz conducted a coaching clinic for Sri Lankan junior players and members of the National Squad on December 16 and 17.

The coaching clinic, held over the weekend, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 32 juniors and six members of the National Squad on both Saturday and Sunday. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and all participants had a great time learning and playing.

Coaches Lal Wickramasinghe and Janitha Maduranga collaborated with Coach Conor D’Cruz to facilitate the junior programme, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for the participants.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a plaque to Coach Conor by Rohantha Peiris, the Vice President of Sri Lanka Squash, as a token of appreciation for his valuable contributions. The gesture expressed the gratitude of the squash community for the enriching coaching sessions provided by Coach Conor.
