‘Thalaivi’ to release on the big screens

Kangana Ranaut, who made her Kollywood debut in 2008 with ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ opposite Jayam Ravi is all set to make her comeback in Tamil movies with the multi-lingual release ‘Thalaivi’, which is directed by Vijay. Kangana Ranaut has now cleared the air on the release details of ‘Thalaivi’. In her latest Instagram story, Kangana clarified that the makers haven’t finalized the release date for ‘Thalaivi’ yet and also asked the fans to refrain from rumors which claim the film is heading for a direct OTT release.

She also confirmed that the film will release in theatres once the theatres across the country open. The much-expected film will release in theatres first, and fans are eager to catch the biography of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.

Ranaut is essaying the role of J Jayalalitha in the biopic, and the actress has done several transformations to fit into the role. ‘Thalaivi’ also has several popular faces from the South, and the film is releasing simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
