Thieves rob four TVs from Maharagama Church

Maharagama Police said that thieves broke into the Saint Mary’s Church, Maharagama and stole four TV sets from there. According to the complaint made by the Church warden to the Police, the theft took place between 11.45 pm last August 13 and 7 am on the previous day (August 14).

During the investigation, it has been found that a side door of the church was opened and four TV sets were stolen. Police said that the value of these four TV sets is around Rs.500,000.

Police said that investigations are going on regarding this theft.
