Executive Director of the KRISH Group Janaki Siriwardena, who was remanded in connection with the grand financial scandal involving
businesswoman Thilini Priyamali, was released on bail.
The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday. However, she has been remanded until the 13th for the other cases.
She was released on a cash bail of Rs.50,000 and two sureties of Rs.10 million each. The Magistrate also imposed a travel ban on her. The Criminal Investigations Department had filed three cases against the suspect.
Accordingly, the suspect was released pertaining to one case filed against her.
The Magistrate further ordered her to report to the Criminal Investigations Department on the last Sunday of each month.
