“The Ella Odyssey train has become popular even internationally. In future, we will work towards starting a special train for tourists through Negombo, to Puttalam areas”, he said

“The trains will also become a means to popularise the tourism business in this region, including the Negombo area. We hope to implement a special programme jointly with the WPTB”, he added

“People are no longer fooled by political slogans. In order to face the current economic crisis, we need to think anew, away from traditional thinking”, he said .

WPTB Chairman Sudath Hewapathirana, representatives of NTSPA and NTHOA, and a large number of local and foreign tourists attended the event.
