Three arrested for forging driving licences

The suspects were arrested while in possession of two forged driving licenses similar to the temporary driving licenses issued by the Department of Motor Traffic.

The arrested suspects are aged 42, 44 and 34 and are residents of Wewelwatta and Gallella areas.

The arrested suspects have been handed over to the Ratnapura Special Crime Investigation Division for further investigations, including how many such fake licenses were made and to whom they were issued.
