Three arrested for sexual assault on woman

Thanamalwila Police have arrested three persons including a Police, Special Task Force constable for trespassing on a land located in Kivul Ara, Thanamalwila and sexually assaulting a woman. This Police constable is a 34-year-old resident of Dodamgaslanda Dabaraya, he is attached to the Gonahena camp of the Special Task Force.

A senior police officer said that according to a complaint made by a woman to the police on last Sunday (30), that she was sexually assaulted by three people including the Special Task Force Constable, an investigation was conducted and these suspects were arrested.
