Three drown while bathing at Norochcholai estuary

Three people drowned while bathing at the Daluwa estuary in Norochcholai on Saturday evening (6), police said.

The victims were identified as two females aged 18 and 19 and a 24-year-old male.

Police said the incident occurred around 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, and that they were residents of the Puttalam area.

Norochcholai Police are conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
