Thundershowers expected at several places

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts, stated the Meteorology Department.

A few showers may occur at some places in Northern provinces and in Trincomalee district.

The general public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
