Traditional offering of honey

The traditional honey offering to the Sacred Tooth Relic took place on Saturday morning as part of the first Randoli Perahera ritual. Uruvarige Vannila Aththo, the leader of the Adhivasi community from Dambana led a group of about 40 people from his community for the traditional ritual. They were received by the Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela. Here, Vannila Aththo offering the honey. Ven Tibbotuwawe Sri Medhalankara Thera and the Diyawadana Nilame were also present.
